Two Point Museum is getting a major dose of amusement-park chaos with its upcoming expansion, Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics. Arriving October 8, 2026, the expansion will let Curators transform an abandoned amusement park into a unique museum-meets-funfair experience.
The gates at Riquetti Gardens have been closed for decades, leaving the once-famous park dark, rusty, and completely devoid of guests. Now, it’s up to you to bring the attraction back to life — while somehow keeping your museum exhibits, guests, and potentially fragile artifacts safe around all those roller coasters.
And yes, you’ll actually be able to design your own custom coasters.

Build Your Own Custom Coasters
One of the biggest additions in Rides & Relics is the ability to create personalized roller coasters across five unique themes.
You’ll have control over the entire coaster journey, including elements such as:
- Height
- Tilt
- Camber
- Track pieces
- Supports
- Chains
- Boosters
- Decorative pieces
That means you aren’t simply placing a pre-built ride in your museum. You’ll be able to design the track itself and create your own high-speed attractions.
The expansion will also introduce multiple types of coasters, including the relatively tame Monobeast Monorail for guests who aren’t quite ready for extreme thrills, as well as steel coasters capable of spins and inversions.
Of course, building an enormous roller coaster next to priceless museum artifacts sounds like exactly the kind of thing that could go wonderfully well.

A New Museum Location: Riquetti Gardens
The expansion introduces Riquetti Gardens, a brand-new museum location built around the abandoned funfair.
The location has a history of its own. Once a legendary attraction in Two Point County, the park was eventually shut down and left to deteriorate.
As Curator, you’ll be tasked with bringing the location back to life while turning it into a functioning museum and amusement park.
The expansion also features a new five-star story campaign, giving players a new storyline to work through as they restore the park.

Meet the Funfair Experts
A new type of Expert is joining your museum staff: the Funfair Expert.
These specialists bring new skills to your museum, including the ability to help with the technical side of running a funfair. You’ll need them to keep rides running properly while also creating the immersive experiences that make the new attractions fit into your museum.
And because this is Two Point we’re talking about, their responsibilities apparently include both candy floss making and “spannering” — otherwise known as ride maintenance.
Keeping everything working will be especially important because the Department of Amusement will be keeping an eye on your park.
The department previously shut down Gearbox Fairgrounds, so you’ll need to prove that your restored funfair can meet its requirements by keeping rides maintained and dealing with hazards such as puddles.
Bring Your Museum to Life With Mascots
Your Assistants can also get a new job: becoming museum mascots.
Mascot costumes will transform your staff into walking characters who can entertain guests throughout your museum, including while visitors are waiting in line for rides.
There will be 10 new mascots to discover across Expedition Maps, with different costumes available across museum themes.
Each mascot also comes with its own effects, giving you another way to create immersive experiences for your visitors.

More Than 15 New Funfair Exhibits
The expansion isn’t just about roller coasters.
More than 15 new Funfair Exhibits will be available to collect and display, including the charming Antique Amusements.
These exhibits introduce something completely new to museum management: Thrill.
Previously, exhibits could provide things such as Buzz and Knowledge. With Rides & Relics, Funfair exhibits can also generate Thrill, giving guests another reason to stick around your museum.
That could make the funfair more than just an entertaining side attraction. You’ll need to think about how rides and Funfair exhibits fit into your overall museum layout and how they affect guest behavior.
And, naturally, keeping guests around longer can mean more opportunities for ride-ticket purchases, donations, and Gift Shop spending.
Expeditions to Gearbox Fairgrounds
You’ll also be able to send your team on expeditions to the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds.
These expeditions will let you uncover new ride blueprints and perks while helping Gretchen Gearbox revisit her grandfather’s legacy.
The story centers around bringing his old rides back to life while attempting to bring them up to modern Two Point County safety standards — which, given the world of Two Point, may be a somewhat flexible concept.
The expeditions will also provide opportunities to discover the new mascots and other Funfair-related collectibles.
Decorate Your Museum With New Funfair Items
Naturally, you’ll need more than rides and exhibits to make Riquetti Gardens feel like a proper amusement park.
Rides & Relics adds a variety of new Funfair-themed decorations and outdoor items, including:
- New hedges
- Fences
- Outdoor decorations
- Benches
- Bins
- Ticket Desks
- A Helipad
- New Gift Shop items
- Other utility items
These additions should give Curators considerably more freedom when creating an outdoor funfair area that feels connected to the rest of their museum.
Earn Ride Ribbons
If you’re looking for another challenge, the expansion introduces Ride Ribbons.
The Department of Amusement will issue certificates for completing certain goals, with perks attached to those achievements.
You’ll need to balance the fun of your new attractions with the practical side of running them — including maintenance and cleanliness — if you want to keep the Department of Amusement happy.
Because apparently building a roller coaster through a museum isn’t complicated enough already.

Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics Release Date
Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics launches October 8, 2026.
The expansion adds a completely new way to approach museum management, combining traditional exhibits and expeditions with custom-built amusement rides.
For players who enjoy the creative side of Two Point Museum, the ability to design your own coaster layouts could be one of the most interesting additions yet. And with new exhibits, mascots, Experts, expeditions, decorations, and a new museum location included alongside the coaster mechanics, there’s plenty more to discover beyond the rides themselves.
Rides & Relics will also include the usual collection of bug fixes, improvements, and optimization changes.
So, Curators, get ready to reopen the gates. Just try not to send a roller coaster flying directly into the Antique Amusements exhibit.
